This past weekend we were honored to help out a small and incredible Los Angeles based non-profit, MaeDay Rescue , which hosted an event for the launch of the book, first of a series, Rescue '68, which pairs rescued dogs with celebrities with a vintage flair.
MaeDay, founded by Natalie Garcia and named after Natalie's dog Maggie Mae, who passed away after a roll over car accident they both were in, is a wonderful organization that not only helps the homeless animal population of Los Angeles and La Ventana, in Baja Mexico, but also aims to raise awareness about the importance of spaying/neutering pets.
Maurice and Jack were two of the organization's rescues in attendance on Saturday and were showered with love and attention by everyone joining the fundraiser, set in a gorgeous private residence located right below the Hollywood sign.
